Cool, sounds like a bit of fun. Has anyone done a V Box run in a 330d yet? I can imagine the 330d being a low to mid 5s car all day long. Factory claim is 5.3s for the sd and 5.1 for the xd to 60, so low 5's for sure. If the hp is more than the claim also 5 (maybe just below) wouldn't be a huge shock.

I’m keen to know without physically measuring which front brake discs I require? Drives: Bmw 328i F30 2013 M paket aut. Join Date: Feb 2017. Location: Europe. That would mean my upper hearing register is going. Or my turbo is not working, not sure which is worst. My 330d has whistled pretty much from new. 2.5 years and 25k miles later it sounds the same. If I accelerate smoothly but rapidly, not hard, with the windows down there is a distinct induction whistle.
The 30/35d engines are generally strong, EGR/cooler excepted, but there can be weak points elsewhere. The 2 cars are quite different. The 340i sounds great and is really quick. Its a joy to drive and even returned some respectable fuel consumption when driven sensibly. The 330d is arguably the best all rounder. Is super reliable and great on fuel. I think the 330d will hold better resale value as well.
