there's a map editor in far cry where you can create and test scenarios as well as place any gun you want - Not sure about customizing them though. Same with abilities idk if that's customizable in the map editor. Download the resistance mod from nexus.

EDIT: Ok, nevermind. Got it. Turn off cloud synch in Uplay, Tools (the gear icon in upper left) -> Settings -> Enable Cloud Play Synchronization for supported games. This solution worked like a charm. It's worth noting that someone else suggested that /420 was the save location, instead of /856.
