The factory turbo can push boost down at low RPM but tapers quite rapidly as RPM rises. We've seen as much as 17psi on the top but anything over 14 at redline is simply hot and unusable. For the charge air temp, depending on the accuracy of the formula, we're seeing around 250-350F as it exits the compressor before it reaches the intercooler.

576 posts · Joined 2012. #5 · May 26, 2013. I don't think you need a downpipe for stage 2 but for 300bhp I think you will need one. 290-300bhp+ is stage 3, stage 2 is more 260-280bhp. If you want 300bhp then get the downpipe and a map. I think a lot of people will recommend the Collins map or the Dream science Mod x map.

It's purpose is place load on the motor so the the turbocharger builds boost. When you are ready to take off, you just release the brake pedal, and viola, no turbo lag.
